The AARC President, Mike Barnes (W5IWZ), designed and made this sign for our club. This sign will be available for use at Public Service Events, Festivals, and any other event in which the AARC will have a presence.

Technician Exams Given to North West ISD Students

Thirty-two (32) Engineering students at Northwest High School took their Technician license exams today (1/15/07) with twenty-seven 27 acquiring their license. That's an excellent success ratio (~85%). Kudos go to their teacher Wayne Day (N5WD) for doing a first rate job of preparing them.

Also, thanks to Volunteer Examiners Barney Boone, Bob Radder, Steve Nance, Cheryl and Tom Anderson for administrating the tests. We should be hearing the students on our club repeater soon. Please welcome them all.
